You are now ready to start learning about GPL’s Delivery I/O suite of apps. These apps are designed to automate your media delivery workflow in Shotgun.

DELIVERY TOOLS

GPL has created two companion apps that automate deliveries from Vendors TO Production. Follow the instructions listed below on how to use them.

creat delivery Create Delivery 2 App

  • VENDORS: Follow these INSTRUCTIONS which explain how to use the Create Delivery 2 App to prepare and deliver submissions to Production.

  • PRODUCTION: Follow these INSTRUCTIONS on how to use the Create Delivery 2 App to create a “local” delivery.

Note: Local deliveries are designed to be used if Production receives a delivery from a vendor that has NOT used the “Create Delivery 2 App”

ingest delivery Ingest Delivery App

PRODUCTION: Follow these INSTRUCTIONS on how to ingest a delivery received from your Vendor.

MISC PRODUCTION TOOLS

import media Import Media App: An app to allow you to batch import media files from your file system and create versions in Shotgun.

copy media Copy Media App: An app to copy files on your file system directly from within Shotgun.

import cut Import Cut App: GPL has created a private release of Shotgun’s Import Cut app. It has new features as well as a number of bug fixes from the public version and allows you to track your cut changes in Shotgun.
